Default No power windows or memory HELP!!!

I have a 2001 XJ8 Vanden Plas that was involvoed in a low flood. I replaced both seat modules and the security module with matching vcats, and have everything else working.
The water level was probably 1 inch or so in the floorboard. It did stay below both of the fuse boxes below the rear seat.
All fuses and relays have been checked and are good. I only had one 10 amp fuse out in the trunk in connection with the security module which has not blown since I replaced the control unit.
The power windows do not work from any door, and the memory doesnt work.
Mirror switch is operable.
Have replaced the master switch, and the driver door control module with no changes.
I have done hard hard resets and have left the battery disconnected overnight with no change in the situation.

One evening when I got into the car I kept pressing the buttons and everything started working including the memory all the way home until I turned the car off.
When I started it back I tryed rolling windows back up and they would not work.
I ended up holding down the central locking button and they all went back up.
It hasn't worked since.
No windows work with their respective switch or the master.
Seems to me there is a ground or something associated with all of the window switches that is bad, but I have no idea where to start looking.
Does anyone have a power window wiring diagram, or have any ideas where to look.
Been working on this a week or so, and it is driving me crazy. Also have searched the forums and nothing really relates to the problem I am having.

Sorry for the long post. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

the drivers door is the master in this circuit. I'd confirm the lower loom connection is clean and clear of the green stuff...flood damaged cars can drive people round the bend with ongoing faults.
The door looms pass thru the door with a rubber seal, then clip into a loom block on either sides of the footwells.

Do the seats work?

Look at post# 12 in the following thread (There are 2 diagrams from the Electrical Guide PDF file).
Here is the weblink to the thread:

Also look at this thread (posts# 22, 20 and 17) it has more wiring diagrams and module pinouts:

Here is a weblink to the 2001 XJ Electrical Guide:

Default Problem Resolved

The grey splice header located in the right hand heelboard had corroded one wire completely in half. Repaired this and all windows worked with the master but the passenger doors did not work with their respective switch. This turned out to be the green splice header located in the left hand heelboard. It had three wires corroded in half. Repaired this and all windows work. Thanks for the info Jim, I used one of your wiring diagrams to track this down. Couldn't have fixed it without it.
