I was just sold an XJR with the wire to the coolant level sensor cut off. On my VDP it looks like this:


On the XJR there is just nothing and a little empty wire connector peeking out of the protective plastic wrap. So I can solder in a new one if I could figure out which wiring harness to get on eBay. Nothing I see there looks like it has this one.
Alternatively, if someone has a parts car that could spare to have this snipped off and mailed, I'd rather buy from one of you.

Have you checked The Marketplace? ...someone is always parting out something...be sure to check the same era XK's.

 

I'm thinking that may be an item you have rob from a donor car, check online at your local auto dismantler like Pick-n-Pull, they usually list what cars are currently available, or maybe you can get lucky and a forum member has one on a parts car.

I have access to a 2000 XJR but I could not get to it until Friday Sept 13th
