I drove one mile speed test with X308 XJR today and got 240km/h (149mph). Nice experience. Ride was still well balanced at the top speed. The final gear changed after 140mph. Unfortunately not enough power for one mile to test if 155mph speed limiter is there or not. It has been said that the limiter was deactivated in Germany years ago. Let's see next summer.... In the other hand I think there are much more stable cars to drive let's say 170+ mph. Arden's front spoiler could help a bit as well as lowering springs and 30-series tires.
