Having just purchased a 1999 XJ8 VDP I am in need of a good repair manual. I know Bentley published some good manuals on the XKE, but I don't find any for my VDP. I am finding plenty of online manuals that range from $5.00 to $200.00. I would appreciate any advice on which online manual is the best buy and most comprehensive. Thanks.

You have a couple of options.
1. You can scroll up to to the STICKY's and download the JTIS21 it is the factory manual for the XJ8.
2. Follow this link below and I have posted a link to my dropbox where you can download a PDF of the tech manual. You can also go to Post #6 and the follow the link to another location for the tech manual. They are all FREE.

Thanks for the info Vern. I have downloaded it and stored it in my Dropbox. Looks like it has lots of good information. I have only had this car for a few weeks but I can already tell this Forum is going to be invaluable.
