Default original paint manufacturer

Does anyone know which company made the original paint for the X308?

Was it perhaps PPG?

Yes, I still have the car but it got smacked at a traffic light last week

Honda CRV, so their bumper was at the height of the lower lip of the trunk lid at the license plate, with some involvement of the trunk opening as well.

This is from a US site, note how color is spelled. But it could be a lead?

Thanks, but I am looking for the original paint vendor because even with a known paint formula the original vendor gives the mbest chance of a match.

It's emerald mist so that is hard enough to get the materials laid down properly.

I was hoping the PPG color listing would help as the possible maker.
I don't see an emerald mist listed on a 2001, at least here US side...just the British racing green HGD.

...guess you could try contacting them. Though anyone can C&P a pic, that sure looks like a Jag wheel in their automotive prompt.

I am not a 'Paint & Body' guy but does a repair shop use Water Based or Solvent Based paint for resprays?

Can you mix them or do you need a complete strip?

TSB for you to consider.
