Default Part Load Breather Hose

Pardon my stupidity but how the heck do you open/close these clamps? It's the end that goes into a vacuum port. Is there a special tool? Sorry for such a simple thing...

Someone more experienced will hopefully soon chime in, but I don't "think" those are re-usable clamps. I think they are installed at the factory and have to be replaced with more traditional clamps.

I pry them off with a small screwdriver, needle nose pliers and possibly a small pick. I then replace it with a standard (worm style?) screw clamp. Maybe someone will explain a better way to remove them; I'd be curious.

By the way, did you get the throttle body connection snapped into place ok?

I think you are right. I sent the picture to a friend and he said cut or pry off. That works for me. Yes I did. Put some lube and pushed REALLY hard and snapped right into place. Wow that was more work than it needed to be.. Thanks.

Easily removable. There is a special tool but squeeze gently with pliers and pry up the latch with a small screwdriver or a pointy tool. Take a moment to inspect while squeezing and it will be obvious how they work.
