Default part number question- Light bulbs

I have a few bulbs out that I would like to replace and I was hoping someone could give me the part numbers. The first is the illuminated switches for the windows on the door panels. second is the bulbs behind the climate control panel. I want to order them before I do any dis assembly. are they available at a parts store or do I need to order them online? the car is a 98 xj8L. Thanks in advance.

Default Actual part #

after waiting in vain on here for an answer, Mike Gallagher at motorcars LTD
was nice enough to help me.The dealership I had called originally before posting on here had no record of replacements for these bulbs, but did have them in their system when I called with the part numbers, which are as follows: LCD bulb for climate control backlight part # JLM11965. Window switch on door Part # DBC6244. Hope this helps someone else out

Hi Steven

You beat me to it with the temp display bulbs, as I've done this myself and had a hard time finding the part number until I found this page http://www.skjagtech.co.uk/support-p...nel-lamps.html

Just out of interest, I assume you are talking about the drivers doors window switches... ? Do any of your other door window switches light up ? (like passeneger doors and rear doors?) Mine don't

On my car the drivers door and the rear passengers door are lit up and the passenger door and the rear drivers door are not. I would assume based on this that all of them are supposed to light up. SARC- did you have a difficult time changing the bulb for the climate control?

Hi Steven

Thanks for the heads up about your other door lighting up.... as you say, it suggests they should all light up. Something to add to the "to do" list then.

You need to take the wood veneer off the centre console to change the temp display lights, its not a difficult job..... you just need to be careful not to scratch the wood or the leather on the console.

I gave some explanations in another thread just after I did mine..

Good luck !
