I have two keys, two fobs.

I have a third key, with transponder chip inside, that is cut but not coded to the car.

Can this be done by anybody other than a dealer? If so, how please!

you could use a key that is programmed to car and install it under the cover around the steering colume and tape it to the key barrel and then you can use a cut key without have to pay to have all the other key programmed and you will always have a extra key if needed. cost saving and then you can also us a key that does not have a chip in it to save on key cost.

You can program a Remote/Fob as a DIY procedure but the Key can only be coded to the car by a Jaguar Dealer or someone with the Jaguar WDS (Worldwide Diagnostic System).

Not many independents in the UK have this equipment but David Marks Garages in Nottingham is quite close to you and may be able to help if you want to avoid the Dealer network.
