Thunderkitten you may need to polish more than the pipes. Your car has been sitting so long it probally has an inch of dust on it. What is your latest ETA on getting your car back. At the rate you are going you will be able to put antique plates on it when you get it back.

I for one appreciate the opportunity people like Thundercat create when they team up with shops/tuners who actively move the advancements forward.

This it's all been done before is a smoke screen for weenies.
It has not all been done before, which is why we are not driving Model Ts

Development takes time.

If you don't like it, simply post what it is that you have added to the world.

I thought "weenies" was appropriate for some of the banter I've seen here lately and for talk between high school girls, since I've noticed some similarities in the interpersonal dynamics...

TC explained his situation with the car, it's sponsored and with that means the shop gets to it on it's own time, this must be an as and when situation, I've had my own pops at him, mainly because of the initial comments, he'd opened himself up to, but I've no doubt when it's finished it'll be a very very quick car, sad that it's taking so long all we wanted to see was the performance. I also doubt most of us would go to these extremes or could afford them on such a cheap, old car.

Sean:
Your point is well made, but none the less, there was a lot of poking at Avos and others early on in this thread. And... if you dish it, you better take it. There have also been a number of "gonna have it running next month" sort of threads. Hell, with enough money and added parts you can get 400 HP out of a pinto engine.

Thunderkitten nor BIP have offered any real advice or information to anyone else on this forum. They have only used it as a teaser to promote their project. Many many Jaguar professionals have given others the value of their experience with very little expectation of return benefit other than information about results.

I, too would like to know what they are doing to promote the "body of knowledge", but that is apparently not their motivation of posting here. As a forum sponsor, that's their prerogative, but it is what it is.
