Hi all,

So I have a question. I read some posts on here explaining which bank is which, call me dumb...lol, but I am confused and am not sure which is which. I have a 1998 XJR, left hand drive from North America and I have a code P0174. The scanner is saying Bank 2, System Too Lean. Which would be that Bank 2, if I am sitting in my car in the driver side. From what I gathered from the posts, it would be the same side where I am sitting, in my left hand drive North America XJR, correct? Thanks much in advance

 

Yes, left side sitting in car.

 

Bank 1 in a Jag is always the driver's side (the correct driver's side for a right hand drive vehicle).

To make it a little clearer.
Sitting in the drivers seat...whether it's LHD or RHD....'A' bank No.1 is on your right.
'B' Bank No.2 is on your left. ;o))
