Default Quicky question 1999 XJ8 coolant line

Hi Guys,
I am replacing the coolant recovery line between the reservoir and the radiator but I have never seen connections like theses before and do no want to do any damage forcing them. What is the trick to removing and replacing them?
Thanks Guys
Ken

The whole line maybe quite brittle, so be very careful.
When working on mine, the line cracked right behind the connector (thankfully) on the coolant reservoir, , so I was able to salvage the connectors on both ends (cut off the other end right at the connector) and just use a standard rubber hose to connect them back up.

Default Thanks

It was a breeze after I knew how it worked. Would have shot myself if I broke the new one.
Again, thanks for your help.
