Radio Code

Is there anyway to get the Radio Code in case I ever have to replace the battery? This XJ8 was bought from used car sale with no manuals and hence no radio code...?

don't bet on it. my 2001 xj8 needed one, but i had the book

That is odd, my 2001 XJR didn't need one.

I thought only the European cars still had radio theft codes.
