Radio not working its not the fuse what could it be?
I checked the 2 fuses ,5A and 30 A located in the trunk and they are fine, what else could it be ? I would like eventually keep the original radio , I like the vintage look, but connect it to a Back Up camera any thought on the one to buy ?

Yes, what vehicle and year? You only show an XJS, but this is the X308 forum. If it is a 308, there is a good possibility its the rheostat dial (on/off volume) gone south. In which most any electronics repair shop should be able to replace it. Also, you will not be able to connect a backup cam to this unit. In that case you'll have to go 3rd party....that to be continued, depending on what you tell us.
For a 2003 it is a different stereo head then a AJ9500A
is the VIN above F20645 ➞ ?
?
There was a change in stereo heads from a 2nd AJ9500A " like or series " to a different one as the 3rd head version from a 94.5 - 97 model year AJ9500A

I don't believe the amp prevents the radio from turning on, which is the issue. The amp not working prevents sound distribution. This is why I am leaning on the rheostat as the issue.
Terry, so your head unit does not even come on correct? That includes the deployment of your antenna mast? If not, take the radio to a electrical repair shop to test and repair, unless you've decided to go 3rd party to upgrade.
