Rear park sensors
Hi,
My Jaguar XJ8 3.2 from 1999 has rear park sensors. However when gear selector is in reverse there isn't any sound. I would like to know which fuse or fuses control it.

I checked my old XJ8 Vehicle Care Manual and there's no dedicated fuse or relay listed for the Reversing Aid.
The Parts Manual is light on detail but does show the main components:
The system is controlled through the Reversing Aid Module (item1) in the luggage compartment which is likely to be bolted to the rear or side panel somewhere around the spare wheel. You can tell what you're looking for from the drawing. Locate this module and you should then be able to see the feed harness. Highly likely this has an in-line fuse.
