My "reverse sensors" are out of operation. Not a huge deal so put the troubleshooting on the back burner. I believe all my fuses are currently good though, but will check again. Yet I don't recall ever seeing a fuse dedicated to that - anyone knows which fuse is involved here?

It is either fuse# 1 (per 2000 XJ Vehicle Care Handbook) or fuse# 3 (per 2000 XJ Electrical Guide).
Handbook says fuse # 1 10 amps Security Lock and Control Module (Reversing Lamps, Rear Fog Lamps, Stop Lamps, Electrochronic Mirror)

Wiring Guide Diagram show yellow wire going from the Security Lock and Control Module (SLCM) to the Reverse Parking Control Module (RPCM)as input, then RPC outputs 2 wires to the Parking Aid Sounder (blue wire and a red wire), RPCM also outputs white wire with red stripe to the RH, green with white stripe to the center RH, black with green stripe to center LH, brown with red stripe LH, parking aid sensors.
