Replacing left-front fender - how?
So there was a shopping-cart incident while the car was parked at the market
and now I need to replace the left-front fender.
It seems that it is more cost-effective to buy a whole intact used-fender on ebay than to actually repair the damage at a body-shop. In the photos on ebay it looks like just a couple of bolts at the front of the wheel well, cannot see what secures the rest of it from the photos though - can anyone kindly elaborate? Is this an easy DIY job or should I better go to a body shop? Any special tools needed?
Also, if I am able to find one in the same color, is it likely to match or due to varying sun-exposure of differing 11+ year-old vehicles I would be better off buying any color and then painting it?
Thank you!

wow ya'll must have some big shopping carts there. i replaced mine in around 30 min. take off tire then remove plastic shield held on by plastic push connectors and 1 10mm nut. there are 9 bolts that hold it on . 4 on top and 5 under.two half way up at rear inside 1 down at bottom inside.2 at front inside all you need is a 10mm socket and a screwdriver to pry off plastic conectors.
Thank you - so the bumper needs to come off first to create access to the front two bolts?

Moving question about panel-color/painting to a separate question: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...g-paint-93770/
