Question Reuse of crankcase cover gaskets??

I snapped a bolt off in my 98 XJ8. The one nearest the passenger seat that has the threads that show. I know how to get the bolt out, but can I resuse this brand new gasket? I guess if wont hurt to try since its not hard to change them. I just dont know about these gaskets. More common paper, metal... type gaskest deform plastically which is why they are one time use. The ruber style idk.

Yes you can reuse a new gasket or one that is in good condition.

It is helpful to wipe the gasket face with plain old engine oil. This helps the gasket creep into position if necessary.
