Hello everyone, ...... I just bought a 2001 XJR and found it was rotten on one side where the jacking points are so I can't even take the wheel off.

I am located in Brentwood , Essex .... Does anyone know a welder that could help me out here?

Also how much is this roughly going to cost me?

Welcome, it depends on how far the rust has travelled, inner and outer sill ends are a usual spot to check. Seeing more rust around the top of the shock towers at the front, and usually the plate behind the front strut also.

You can get stands further inboard on the subframes and wood blocks if needed.

Wiring looms run along the inside of the inner sills so care there, probably best to remove the kick panels and move the carpet back.

Not in your area but have a look around local shops and see who they recommend, facebook can be a good resource sometimes, there are XJ groups.
