I noticed that when I open the car, the seat doesn't automatically move back to create more space to enter (even though it's set to AUTO on the side of the steering wheel). Also, when I move the chair forward/back and then press one of the memory presets on the door (1, 2, or 3) it adjusts everything but the seat distance from the steering wheel (back/forward). Ideas?

 

I know it has to do with memory seat and your fob settings. I believe there’s more information in your owners manual addressing those exact concerns.

 

When you open the door, the seat should already be in the rearward position...as it should of gone back when you extracted the key before exiting. It will not go into a preset position until you put the key back in the ignition.

Now, a little more clarification, you state it accepts the memory setting, but doesn't give you distance from the wheel? So, is it not going back when you extract the key?
