Default Seat swap '98 XJ8 to '02, '98 has no air bag???

What is the best way to make this front seats swap? Install air bag in '98 seat? Don't use the air bag, trick the computer into thinking the air bag is there? Change the seat covers and cushions to the '02 seats?

Thanks for any help,

My 98 XJR has side bags. Just not the tag to show it.

Just went and had a look at my 98 XJR, that has airbags, and a tag.

Has your tag been tucked into the gap between the seat back and the trim panel that covers the rear of the seat?

The "airbag" tag is the same colour as my seat (oatmeal)

Should be an easy swap with no issues. I have run '98 seats and '02 VDP seats in MY98
