Security sounder on my XJ8 2001

Security sounder on my XJ8 2001

Hi!
I have just joined this forum as I like to find out things about my Jaguar.
Currently, I am trying to locate the security sounder. I have removed the drivers wheel arch cover as I was told it was up there - but I can't see it.
Any one able to help please?

I would like to find it in my XJ8.

Go to the new member section and introduce yourself as it’s mandatory.

The security sounder is located next to the power steering pump. It’s a a black box.
