Look at the steering wheel. Did it come like this or replaced airbag? CarFax said no accidents. My 2003 XJR in the black/tan interior like this one has wood/black leather/black air bag steering wheel. My past 2003 XJ8 sovereign in all tan had wood/tan leather/tan airbag steering wheel.
The steering wheel will generally match whatever the top colour of the dashboard is, for example my XJ Sport has Oatmeal trim on the seats, console and lower sections of the door cards and dashboard. But the tops of the door cards and dash top are black and my steering wheel is also black with perforated leather and wood.
Early X308s came with T Piece interiors where the two tone colour combinations were even more obvious.
