For your instrument pack, double check your connectors, as stated, if they're not properly seated, they won't work.

The DTC's are read and cleared using an OBDII 'scan-tool'.
Attempting to diagnose and repair without one is going to get very difficult and time consuming.
The best tool for looking at ALL the modules on the CAN bus is WDS, IDS or similar.
A generic 'scan-tool' will at least read the ECM.

With so many lights, error messages it may be a weak battery or connections. My 'Locked in the park and no brake lights' were due to a broken wire at the brake switch connector. I probably did that by replacing the switch.
