You can get the correct fluid from Mercedes dealers, but I'm all ears on other brands that run the same specification. You can get a new locking tab from MB also, just get a flat screwdriver and pop it off to the side, the new one pushes in.

There is a thread on the XJR gearbox service with all the relevant part numbers, pan gasket, filter, fluid, locking tab etc. A nice thing to do is swap out the outer and inner O ring seals for the transmission control loom on the side of the trans. There have been problems when the seals let fluid creep up the wiring harness causing faults, new seals address this.
