Greetings. Looking for someone who can help out a little bit here.

So I'm working on a X308 and one of the problems I have with it is that when I turn the ignition off, the tag lights stay on. Don't really want to go to inspection to figure out what the problem is - want to fix her up myself - so I was wondering if any of you fellas knew what the problem could be.

Quick side-note: the tag lights turn themselves off in about 5 minutes or so.

 

Explanation needed: what do you mean by "tag lights"? Do you mean the license plate lights on the trunk lid? Or...?

 

Yeah I mean the license plate lights. All other lights are good.

 

Check relay R3 in the trunk fuse box is switching off. Check the flap in the ignition barrel is closing when you remove the key.
