does anyone what model those small bulbs are below the high beam light? They come on with the low beam lights, but they are listed on the bulb page in the manual.

Also - how are they removed?

theyre I believe a 134 bulb, theyre the same in the lic plate lights and side markers. you remove by twisting the bulb holder counter clockwise and removing, then the bulb pulls straight out.

The license plate light is listed as a 2418, and the parking light is listed as a 2825 by Sylvania, who I believe to be the OEM manufacturer.

I could not find a 134.

Now I am really curious.

YES THATS IT, SORRY I MENT 194, AND THATS WHERE I GOT MY BLUE ONES WHICH LOOK ALOT BETTER IN THE CLEAR 98-^ HEADLIGHTS INSTEAD OF MY ORIGINAL ONE FOR 95-97. I JUST CHANGED MY 96'S OVER TO 98 AND NEWER CLEARS THEN FIT THEM WITH STYPE HID PROJECTORS SINCE I WAS TIRED OF LOOKING AT CRAPPY HALOGENS

I upgraded the low beam bulbs to Synvania silverstars, and the little marker lights look yellow now!

I wanted to go to actual HID, and bought a "kit" off ebay. What a nightmare!

unfortunatly the silver stars suk, I havent gotten a set to last longer than 6-8 months where the factory bulbs last years. And the aftermrket hids make your headlight hi beam all the time since there no cut off for the upper beam. I used the projector assembly that has the cutoff and cut the back off the light out and used a cut off wheel of the appropriat size to fit the projector into and epoxied in place. Works perfectly but at the cost of breaking 2 headlights while cutting and fitting projector, but now I have it down and thought of modifying others but it would not be a kit since I would have to fit ( cut) behind the headlight to fit the larger longer assembly into place

you would not believe how bright these things are!!

Interesting observation, when I installed these, after a few seconds each one began to glow dimly. Apparently there a re a few errant volts traveling through the wires. The juice was not enough to evenly dimly light a filament bulb, but the LED's glow lightly. Looks really sic in a dark garage.

These bulbs are very bright. I have a few sets in my Chevy car. I replaced the map lights in side with these and they also glow all the time. It takes such a small amount of power to light these that any power in the lines will make em glow. I have never had a problem with them killing a battery so don't panic about that. I used them to replace the lisence plate lights on my chevy also and they shine right passed the plate and illuminate the ground under the back bumper, looks like under carriage neon, cops have not bothered me about them yet.

I installed the led's in my headlight marker lights and they did the exact same dimming thing your talking about, it looked really cool because they would stay on for hours after the car was turned off.. The problem is that mine eventually started flickering like crazy while the car was running; maybe a week or two after they were installed.. It was really annoying and I could not for the life of me figure out the cause.. I installed 3 different sets of led's and the problem kept coming back.. The light would work great for a week, then go crazy.. I hope you have better luck, but I feel like the different resistance of the led's makes the lights go crazy.. I ended up removing them and I'm actually happier with the look without any marker lights.

I'd like it if there was an incandescent for the markers that matched my Silverstars.

search for w5w bulbs or wedge bulbs
