Default Throttle body gasket

I am replacing my throttle body gasket. The factory gasket appears to be metal, but I have also found paper gaskets from aftermarket vendors that are much cheaper. Do you think it will make a difference going with the cheaper alternative? Thanks for your input.

If you are refering to the gasket betwen TB and elbow, or elbow and intake plenum?
Either way should be fine as long as you very lightly smear the gasket on both sides with Silastic or similar auto silicon sealer, this will strengthen the gasket.

WRONG.

Dan, you pay for what you get, non oem = problems, there's a reason why I always stress genuine parts and not Botch Jobs. This statement above is exactly why I have to stress this, I've had to fix unmetered air leaks because of 'sealant' - supercharged Jags require the correct parts or you WILL be doing the work again....FACT.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I will go with the OEM gasket (not worth saving the $15 for a potential re do).
