tired if trac/abs warnings
2000 xj8L 165K : for past year or so I have ben getting message: trac not avail, abs, check engin, and restricted performance. messages are almost constant.
no ill effects during driving. have removed and reinstalled all wheels sensors,
no help. What would disconnecting all wheel sensors do????
Please help
Thanks

Look at this earlier thread on the forum (see its post 1):

The brake reservoir tank being filled the top was causing the abs and trac off messages.
I also was having the same issue now and off for months, lowering the brake fluid level a bit solved the issue.
