Default Transmission drain plug?

Finally found a shop (local garage) willing to put in a Transgo pressure valve update into the valve body.

So, presented for your consideration...

Looking at Trans filter kit, notice it has a replacement drain plug. Have not seen any mention of a drain plug on our Jag 5hp24 trannys, so thinking maybe the BMW 5hp24's have a drain port. Pending suitable research, might it be an idea to put on a BMW pan? Seems like it would make future changes of the "lifetime" fluid more pleasureable. Thinking shorter term fluid drains to dilute out residual converter remains.

Um, of course, completely ignore this if our Jag pans already have a drain plug. I have not actually looked yet, but just saw a ZF rebuild pdf that indicates one.

Yes the zf5hp24 transmission has a drain plug that is easy to see once you look at the bottom of the pan.
