Question Transmission Shifter & Position Sensor Seals

My car is 2000, XJ8, X308, with only 29K Miles, with a ZF5HP24 Auto Transmission

Has anyone replaced these two seals?
Part# .01010/120, and the ZF 5HP24 part number is 0734 319 623. One on both sides.

Shifter & Neutral rotary switch shaft seals I think their called.

I originally had this cat in the dealer to fix these leaks, and service with new oil and pan gaskets. I have had this cat in the dealer twice in the last two months, and both times, it still leaks from these seals. Slow drips, two 6 in puddles on floor each day.

I read on a post here at one time, that the oil level in the trans does not go up far enough when the trans is full to leak out of these seals. Is this true?
Could this trans be overfilled at the dealer?
If I pull out the old seals, will the fluid leak out? (If not over filled)

I want to do this repair myself, and need to know what to expect, and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I myself don't have experience with this, but, I've attached a PDF from ZF with parts break downs.

Also, check this guys videos out, he know the 5HP24 pretty well and you can email him... https://www.youtube.com/c/GaryFerrar...mission%20leak

I just replaced the selector sensor seal on the right hand side of the transmission. Fluid level is not up to the seal when car is not running, but rises during operation, which is when it can leak (1998 XJ8)
