Default Transmission Wire Harness Connector
I'm trying to disconnect the harness from the transmission, but can't figure out how to do it without breaking it. Frustrating. Appreciate any help.

The lock is the form of a ring, the largest diameter of the plug. I believe you must rotate to the right looking from the back. Nice picture.

No, wait, I'm not sure which way it rotates, but it is not hard to move so you should be able to figure it out. Maybe someone with a better memory will help.

It 'unscrews' like a normal threaded fastener (lefty loosey).

It only turns about a quarter turn as it moves BACK.

Where on the car is this located, I need to check mine, I keep getting transmission fault, and performance restricted?

Passenger side of the gearbox. Under the heatshield and behind of right cat.
