So I’ve been fighting a clunk ever since I changed my front shocks (CATS) and shock bushings with the URO ones a couple years ago. They are the ones on the right with the black bushings. The problem was even when they were tightened up I could still spin the shock in the mount pretty easily. I just ordered a new right side, with the yellow bushing, also from URO and that one seems to snug up fine. They are the same part number. I’m waiting to test drive it to see if that helps, but has anyone else run into this? Has anyone else had any issues with URO parts? They seem to make a lot of parts for these cars.

 

It's been awhile (about 12 yrs), someone like Addicted2Boost would be able to be more direct since he sees this all the time. I believe there is a larger bushing sleeve for your CATS....I have CATS as well...and that's what the yellow bushing has. Just measure it.

 

​​​​​​Never trust Uro parts the parts I bought failed less than year actually their expansion tank cap lasted 1 week !! They use the cheapest materials never buy again. Get meyle strut mount I think they're 30-35$ partsgeek . Eurospare also make very good suspension parts like ball joints very good quality also at good price Delphi is good too but never uro parts again

 

I tend toward RockAuto for suspension parts, however not
everything is available there.
