Right Then-Seeing how my XJ has spat it's dummy out, AGAIN, I've decided to get a code reader. Now looking on ebay.co.uk the prices aren't as bad as I thought they'd be-but I don't know what I need as there are that many. Do all cars share the same plug or do I need a specific type?



BTW The symtoms are: Restricted performance & CEL. Car won't allow me to exceed 3,500 rpm, and throws a fit if I try. I had noticed the pipe from the air filter to the engine block had popped off cos the clip was broken so have repaired this with Duck Tape until I can get a replacement.
