Hello what is the real name for the timing chain cover gasket? Also my 03 XJ8 will be having the valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, timing chain cover gasket, transmission fluid and filter, oil pan gasket, drain plug, engine oil filter, and transmission filter & fluid replaced and I am wondering what else can or should be done while it's already opened up? Its a great car that just needs a little tlc. The last owner didnt do a lot of routine services and id hate to overlook something. We have already replaced the water pump and a couple of hoses. It has 145k miles. Thank you---mike

 

replace the plastic thermostat tower with an upgraded metal version along with a new thermostat?
