Wheel lug size
While on the subject .. does anyone care to discuss the sizing in relation to alternative replacements?
The thread is 1/2-20 and is easy enough to find.
The question is the diameter and length of the shank.
In particular, the clearance between the diameter of the shank and the diameter of the corresponding hole in the wheel.
While the wheel is supposed to be hub-centric according to reports here, it is still worrisome to think about too much clearance between the shank and the hole.
Are there good lug nuts that people have found with a close fitting shank?
Measuring a stock one:
0.7020" or 17.92mm at the fat part of the shank that retains the washer and a length of 0.55' or 14mm.

I tried taking my lug nuts off with a deep well 7/8" socket. It wouldn't fit, so I knocked the socket on with a hammer. Long story short, I have one lug nut off, but it is now stuck in the socket. I really hope these cheap tin-covered lug nuts are aftermarket, or Jaguar has some 'splaining to do...
