Default Wife is mourning I'm happy

Well it has been a good card while it lasted. My wifes '02 XJR blew a head gasket this week. Went out to start the car yesterday and when turning over it felt like the engine something locked onto the crank holding it back from turning over.

Last night after work I pulled the plugs and when I tried to turn the engine over a water slug shot across the driveway. Water and oil in # 6 cylinder.

We are off to go car shopping this weekend. I'm happy she is crying.

Don't know if I will ever own another jag or not but I do intend to fix the XJR so I can sell it and get more out of it, unless somebody here wants it as it.

I wanted to take a moment to thank everybody that has helped me out over the years with advice and information about this car. I'm not a small guy and don't fit in the car very well, I hate fixing it all the time but...

IT WAS A BLAST TO DRIVE. I will miss the power and the tiny cars in the rear view mirror.

Bruce, if I could get $2500 for it as it sits I would be very happy. Repaired it's worth $4500-5000.
