Winshield Wiper

My 2001 XJ8 winshield wiper quit working? I think my best bet is to replace the sensor (relay) but the quoted me a price of $200. Is there a way to check the relay before spending the money?

you can but you can just by them and install them your self.. there like 25-35 each.. and they snap in.. like 98 % of the time the relay fails..
