Wobbly speedo needly, check engine n more
I just finished replacing my steering rack. disk and brake pads and suspesion bushings. I also changed the oil, oil filter and fuel filter. After all was done I started engine. I get check engine, abs, traction control failure alerts. What is strange is the the speedo needle vibrates at around 10mph as if I was driving the car? Engine runs smooth as silk and steering works perfect. All sensors pluged in. I checked the fuses in the trunk non burnt. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
I know that our respected professional, Steve11, does not believe in a 'hard reboot' but sometimes it does clear strange electronic issues.
I believe that the speedometer reads the transmission output shaft for the dash display through the TCM and ICM . . . and perhaps the BCM. Operates via FM.
That's as close as I can get to a helpful response.
