Default Wrong light pattern problem

Hi everyone!

I just received new LHD headlights. The new lights have exactly same markings on the front as the old ones which should be RHD. Do the headlights have same markings or do i have correct ones already installed?

Thank you for answering!

Here is a picture of the LHD light markings.

My headlights have exactly the same markings, so it looks like yours are right.
Was your car recently imported from the UK or something?

It's the mirror that is diverting the light beam , making them LHD or RHD. If you fit the headlight, and put the lights on, on a wall or garage door, the obtuse angle should be to the right for a LHD , and to the left for the RHD.
I have both types on my car, a LHD on right and RHD on left.

I had the lights changed recently. They were correct ones. Weird that they are not marked differently.

My car was imported from Germany many years ago. After that it had minor accident to the front and because the expensive parts, it was written off. Previous owner then bought it, fixed it and for unknown reason used RHD lights.

Most probably the previous owner repaired it with second hand parts from the UK (or a UK car scrapped in Europe), and the headlights were RHD. An "eye" from a RHD can be 20-30 pounds on ebay UK , a new LHD can go 120.
