Planned upgrade session....all this mess because of better knock sensors. At the same time it's good to check and change quite a many other parts. When car is back to
the roads and well finetuned - it should be total dynamite . Hopefully it will finally show it's potential.

Did you swap one bolt at the time and straight to the torque? Or heads off etc ?

The process has been a bit slow but now got all the needed ( mostly upgraded ) and the rest should be done in a couple weeks. The it's time for raw street drive tuning and after that the fine one in dyno. We decided to start with "modest" 26PSI boost - that box would give so much more if really wanted

Sorry if I missed it, but is the bottom end stock or beefed up? If it's a dumb question, I apologize.

Yes, the bottom end has been made stronger. All forged internals, msain and now head studs, oil squirters, ceramic coated pistons, combustion chambers and valves, improved oiling, better bottom end bearings etc. Now a lot of failsafe sensors connected to the ECU.

This old lump XJ with 392 Hemi drove 12.3/189 today. Some massive pro style long burnouts. I hope we have match race after a few weeks....

Can’t wait to see what times you turn. Certainly you have enough hp to achieve 10.9. The question is, what tire are you going to be running at the track? If you have slicks, run bead locks.

I have always used MT Drag Radials. Nothing else is waste of time.

Edit: btw. that -79 XJ has 205 Chinese whitewall tires They want to kee right style.

2.1 would be quite a small SC.... The upper pulley is 3.25" - later back to 2.75" or at least 3". Yes, TB is enough for the flo. . Not too small, not too big.

So I misjudged the size of that case...are you running a 2.6-2.8 mammoth? Other than that, your into LC territory.

Looks like we're close..after six long years. The engine performs better and better in daily driving. Dyno next today, and if it goes well, first 1/4 mile test a couple of days after that.
