Default X308 compact spare tire

I have been trying to source a spare tire (I have the 18" rim) here on the island, but it seems impossible.
Maxxis, a local supplier, lists a whole lot of sizes on their website, but is obviously not supplying them on the island.

I will try to trace down a new or used tire in Europe, which I can bring back next month, but was just wondering what the original Jaguar size was for the 18".
Anyone happen to know it?

Are you talking about the actual tire size? The T115/85r18 temporary spare tire?

mine had an extra Penta as the spare. I think the AJ27 cars got 18x4 space savers. At least that's what car-part.com shows as an option for wheels.

Right, my VDP rims came as a set of 5 as well, but the XKR rims I bought were just 4.
Going to move the VDP rims to the XJ-S, so finally a need to find that tire.

I've got one of these "space saver" spare wheels in my car, but I can't check the tyre size just now as the boot is full of tools and equipment ready for tomorrow's day of fun.

Eric, here is a link to the tyre company I use, they stock the tyre for a very good price. They may well dispatch it to you, however if you'd like me to take delivery and then dispatch it for you I'd be happy to help. Email me or something.

Stu, yes, that is the company which shows up over and over again if I google for the spare.
Thanks, let me check what they can do, I will be in Holland so they might be just ship it there, otherwise I might take you up on the offer, but I will PM you in that case.

E.

Well, I was about 2 seconds away from ordering a spare tire in Holland, when after a 2 years search a unused and original Pirelli + rim showed up here in Taiwan, and that for just 30 USD.

Saves me from carrying it back, more space allowance for Dutch cheese ".

Thanks for the help and offer though!
