Hi I have a 2001 xj308 3.2. I want an upgrade in power and have a 1999 xjr engine at hand. Would it be a straight simple upgrade engine swap.
Any help would be much appreciated

basically I have a FULL 1999 xjr donor car but the body work and engine bay is rusted beyond repair in my opinion. But gearbox and engine are fine. So if I already have all the wiring looms etc then would it be as simple as a straight swap.
I ask because my 2001 3.2 is almost in perfect condition
