Looking at an '04 XJ8 VDP with 45k milage. It's got a clean title, no collisions etc. I want to commute with it, a long commute. How reliable are these cars?

 

head up to the x350 section for a better answer but personally I went with a x308 because that air suspension scared the crap out of me. Also, each car is different - a lot of your answer will depend on how well the po maintained the car. If youre really concerned, pop an extra $1000 and get a warranty to ease your mind a bit
