xjr 100 canada no gps
when I look at the specs of what the xjr100 on the internet it says it has gps, did the Canadian edition not come with the gps, I just bought a xjr 100 but it only has the cd in the trunk, my car has the red stich seats , chrome xjr100 step plate,xjr100 on the wood, brembo brakes and the rims and badging, so I was wondering was the Canadian models different from the American? and how easy would it be to put a gps in it
thanks

Remove the left vertical trunk carpet to look at the location for the navigation module.
Maybe the previous owner replaced this trim with the CD only trim.
Frankly my guess would be that all XJR100 came with navigation and therefore either your was removed, the carpet trim was changed and you will find the module behind or.... your car is not a real XJR100
Do the console has red stiching? Is the outside trim around the windows chrome or black?
Yes, you can retrofit the gps. I can walk you through it but lets first find out about what you really have

You have all the correct XJR-100 bits and pieces and I really doubt that someone would have spend the money, over $20K for sure, to add them to an XJR.
Just remove the carpet trim and take a couple of pictures of where the amp, CD and Nav module is/was.
There are some little things that will tell me if the nav was removed or not

I think front sprayers were standard on Canadian versions: my first X308 had them, it was a base Canadian market model.
From the picture I can tell you that the navigation module was never installed in this car.
The 2 little small holes in front of the CD, on the horizontal part of the trunk would have Rive-nuts in it if the car came with Navigation from the factory.
