Default XK brace for XJ

Quick question.
Can any of the XK8 chassis braces be bolted onto a 2000 XJ8?

I just checked a few part numbers for you and they seem to be different, so I don't think they can be bolted.

Dumb question...

Are there additional braces that stiffen the chassis other than what was on the standard XJ8?

Mine's a 99 and I would not mind tightening things up with regard to body flex.

I suspect not. You could look at ways of cutting resilient mounts to bronze bushes, al la race cars, and add a rolecage. Fabricate a beefier lower cross beam for the rear suspension. Loose the front subframe mounts and bolt direct to the chassis, but could you be arsed, I mean you'd turn it into a clunking stiff track day car. I'd just buy a Lotus 7!
