Default XL8 Front Calipers

Hi everyone. Recently had to change my front nearside brake caliper as it was holding on when hot and causing an almighty wheel judder. I now seem to have the same problem with the ofside caliper. Is this a common fault with this model? The car has only covered 41K from new and has been serviced by Jag every 12 months.

I seriously believe that the problem with your brakes is lack of use! The caliper pins are probably gunked up or rusted. And i cannot imagine that Jag (or anyone else) would dissassemble and lube them if the brake pads were not worn out. The calipers are very conventional Bendix type setup and should not bind. That said, it is a simple procedure to dissassembel and lubricate them if neede. OR, you might have a bent part.
