I have a 1990 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign that was produced in or after 1989. I've been trying to find a gas cap that actually fits and I am having a very hard time finding one at a decent price. This is the first Jag anyone in my family has owed, so this is an experience for us. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, new member, WELCOME.

Your '89/90 XJ6 is in fact known as an XJ40 "style".

The S3 XJ6 finished in about late '86, early '87, HOWEVER, the body shape continued in V12 form ONLY until '92.

Hopefully one of the Moderators will see this and help a new member out and move you to the XJ40 area, where the replies will be more specific. If not, simply repost in that section.
