Default 1992 Jaguar vanden plas

So my neighbor is selling her Jaguar for $500 I am interested in buying it because I have always admired it while it's been sitting in her yard. Here is the story she said she bought it back in 2000 and shortly after she bought it, it's battery would drain it's self over night and not start the next morning so she parked it under her carport and left it until 2014 when she decided to look into fixing it so she got tabs and went for about a 15 mile drive when it started overheating she just wanted to get it home so she tried to keep going but its battery died she had a friend bring her a battery and she drove it the rest of the way home. Now she bought a brand new BMW and wants to get the jag out of her carport. She told me the story and I wanted to inspect the jag she hands me the key and I hook up the battery and it starts right up after I turn it off I look under the hood I see oil under the car and I wanted to see where it was leaking from. I notice there's no serpentine belt. I think to myself maybe that's why it it overheated and died in 2014. I have not bought it yet and I want to look at it again. My list so far replace serpentine belt, find and fix oil leak, find what's causing battery to drain over night. What can you add to my list. Is it worth buying.

The motorized seat belts are notorious for draining batteries.
