YES.

You are also in the wrong forum area. Your XJ6 is known as an XJ40. Check the year gaps in brackets under each forum title.

One of the friendly Mods might want to move this to the correct foum.

Yes, actually it's mandatory. Using leaded (if it's available in your area which is unlikely) will quickly cause the catalytic converters to clog and fail.

Unleaded only, or big bills round the corner.
