Hi, i have a few problems with my '94 xj6.

1. those four lights on the side off the car right around the corner from the front and back turn signals never come on. i'm not even sure exactly when they are supposed to be on but i've never seen them light up.

2. my bright lights stay on constantly, even when the car is turned off. i don't know where the relay is for these, i've checked the four at the top right it wasn't any of those and i don't even know if that's the problem. any ideas?

3. how do you take the whole headlight assembly out. i know you loosen up those too long screws with the big white knobs but then there are two screws down at the bottom in the middle that are impossible to get to.

Any help with any of these problems is greatly appreciated.

The side lights may be related to the body control module.

 

what and where is the the body control module? and what are these lights used for in the first place?

 

Body control module is behind the glovebox. Sounds like you are describing the side marker lights.

 

what are the side marker lights for?
